This well help you chose the right box needed for your items:
- Wardrobe Boxes are 20 in and have double-strength cardboard and a metal hang bar so you can transfer hanging items from your closet to the moving box. They can also be used for large items such as hanging plants, garden tools, large lamps. If you are only hanging short items you can put items on the bottom of the wardrobe box before placing your clothing on the rail.
- Small book boxes are 1.5 cubic ft. They are best for books, cds, dvds, papers, canned food, and smaller fragile kitchen items.
- Medium Boxes are 3.0 cubic ft. They are best for pots and pans, lamp shades, shoes, or any other medium size items.
- Large Boxes are 4.5 cubic ft. They are best for baskets, lamps, and bedding items.
- Packing paper is great for wrapping any breakables you may have. Using newsprint can leave marks on your dishes and other breakables if left on for too long.
- You should never pack a box with over 70lbs. You will want to be able to move them around when you arrive at your new home.
