                                                                                  Moving Tips                                                                                     

  • The hoses on washers and dryers need to come off the appliance as well as the wall. You can place them inside of the washing machine.

  • Your fridge and freezer need to be emptied into coolers prior to moving them.

  • Clothing can be left in dressers unless you feel the dresser would be to heavy to move. All other items should be removed from your dresser.

  • When renting a rental truck you want to make sure to get 3 blankets per foot of truck or any storage pods.

  • To protect items that would be in storage you are able to buy paper pads to protect them through the duration of it being stored.

  • When hiring movers it is best to clearly mark on each box where you want it to go in your new home. If you chose not to do this then you will want to designate a place at your new home for the boxes to go when your movers unload.

  • You will want to have any pets in a safe secure location when your movers arrive. This helps prevent anyone tripping.

  • Any furniture that is able to  to be disassembled should be taken apart in preparation for your move. Also please make sure all boxes are secure with the lids closed.
